 The Holmes County Geographic Information System (GIS) is a powerful tool used by government, business, and the general public to access map and attribute information about any location in Holmes County.

Duties of the Holmes County GIS include:

  • support and enhance various county GIS applications
  • GIS data development
  • GIS analysis
  • cartography and map production
  • addressing (house numbering) all unincorporated parts of Holmes County
  • administration of Tax Map Office
  • automated vehicle location (AVL) systems
