The county dog wardens are responsible for the enforcement of dog control laws and for patrolling their respective county to seize and impound on-site all dogs found running at-large, and all dogs more than three months of age found not wearing a valid registration tag. The dog warden also investigates welfare concerns and all claims for damages to animal, fowl, and poultry.

Instructions for Dog Tag Applications:

Please check the application for accuracy. Neatly correct your address, telephone number, or any information concerning your dog. If you have acquired a new dog, add it to the application. If you no longer have a dog listed on the application, please let us know so your account will not show as being delinquent. You must be 18 years of age to purchase a dog license. If you received an application and are not of age, you will have to register the dog under another name.

The fee for a Dog License is $15.00 per dog. After the January 31st deadline, the fee is twice the annual fee ($30) per dog. All Kennel License must be purchased at the Auditor's Office or the Dog Warden's Department.

Purchase at Dog Agents:

You can take the enclosed application to any of the agents listed below until the deadline to purchase your dog tags.
